The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you are looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the touch of a button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough mappings of your area to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as some others do, and it can even pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an improved filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is even better as its spinning pads clean your floors better than a vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it does not have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's a small cost to pay if want to get one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than its competitors and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without interruption. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and then moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong like the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can also vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend drying them with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can need. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, as well as a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even when you're at home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of simply following a predetermined route.

The Omni Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a range of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots at this price range. It is able to create detailed floor best buy robot vacuum maps and detect different flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are useful but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category, which might make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the settings menu of the app where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop with ease without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
